I’m so sorry for not updating, but I was busy with my real life. Anyway, in the meantime Mia attended the 2013 Sundance Film Festival were she was seen out & about and at “Stoker” related events including “Stoker” premiere. I’ve added all the missing event photos as well as portrait sessions to the gallery, enjoy!

Miu Miu‘s Spring 2012 ads have been brightening up the pages of our glossies for the past few months now with their cheerful hot-pink-and-canary-yellow backgrounds and abundance of print-happy pieces. Now the brand has released a video to accompany the campaign, starring Australian actress Mia Wasikowska, and, yes, it is just as colorful as the print versions. In addition, I found some new photos from the spring campaign.

Mia Wasikowska is no stranger to the fashion industry — she appeared in various fashion magazines over the past year and made an appearance at this year’s CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards — but her new ad spot for Miu Miu marks her first major campaign.

Wasikowska replaces the label’s fall face, 15-year-old actress Hailee Steinfeld, and resort face, 34-year-old model Guinevere van Seenus.

Miu Miu has a long-standing tradition of tapping hotly tipped actresses to front the brand, previously hiring Vanessa Paradis, Selma Blair, Lindsay Lohan and now Mia.

She did what?” asks Mia Wasikowska, the inflection of her relaxed Australian accent teetering on falsetto, when I tell her that Lindsay Lohan could serve up to three years in jail for allegedly stealing a $2,500 necklace. Wasikowska shakes her head, although her dismay doesn’t seem especially condemnatory. On this February morning, the 21-year-old actor looks incredulous rather than critical, genuinely shocked that someone in Lohan’s position would abuse her privilege in such a flagrant and distasteful way. This is because Wasikowska is a woman for whom red carpets and loaner jewels are the gaudy aftershocks of revelatory, soul-baring performances. Tellingly, she just laughs when asked, as she often is by journalists jaded by the pleasure-seeking principals of young Hollywood, how she avoids the trappings of fame.

Dear visitors! I’m really sorry for not updating, but my had to put my real life before the site. But now I’m fully back on with updates.

First of all, Mia attended Miu Miu fashion show at Paris Fashion Week last week and she looked even more beautiful than usually. Second this is that I’ve finally added the missing photoshoot to the gallery. Yes, this one that has been requested so many times! Enjoy!
